Allergy Program

AllergyAbout Us

Pediatric Allergy program provides a broad range of clinical and diagnostic services to infants, children, adolescents and some selected adult patients with acute and chronic allergic disorders. These disorders include anaphylaxis, allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma, atopic dermatitis or eczema, food sensitivity, drug sensitivity, contrast media sensitivity, urticaria/angioedema, insect sting allergy or latex sensitivity.

The allergy clinic had been chosen in the past as the top clinic that served allergic children in the state by the Children Medical Service (CMS) of the State of Florida. Our air cleaner program that was sponsored by the CMS received citation by the state as an outstanding model for prevention of respiratory allergy.

The staffs associated with the clinic in the past have published articles that cover most of the clinical disorders listed above.

We always work closely with the primary care physicians, after the work up, in order to provide the complete care for children with allergic disorders. The staffs in the clinic take pride in treating allergic child as a whole rather than aiming only at the managing of allergic symptoms. Providing education for the patient and their parents about the allergy is always included in our care.
