Leadership, Networking, and Career Development for MCH Trainees
This year, the University of Florida Pediatric Pulmonary Center hosted the national “Making Lifelong Connections: A Leadership, Networking and Career Development Meeting for Current and Former MCHB Trainees” (MLC). This meeting brings together students and professionals from various healthcare disciplines who are participating in, or who have previously participated in, graduate level Interdisciplinary Leadership Training Programs funded by the federal Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB). MCHB funds interdisciplinary training programs in pediatric pulmonary care, neurodevelopmental disabilities, adolescent health, public health and a range of other pediatric subspecialties. MLC was well attended by current and former trainees from a broad range of geographical areas, training programs and disciplines.
