We provide training for short (<40 hours), medium (40-299 hours), and long-term (>300 hours) level trainees in the areas of nursing, social work, and nutrition. Admission, scheduling, and weekly hours are flexible to suit individualized academic requirements, with each student receiving a personalized educational plan tailored to their training duration, leadership goals, and interests.
Social Work
For graduate-level social work students seeking to further their understanding of interdisciplinary care, medical social work, counseling, case management, advocacy, quality improvement, and public policy.
Clinical Nursing
For graduate-level nursing students seeking to further their understanding of pediatric pulmonary medicine in an interdisciplinary care model. Additional opportunities exist in areas of advocacy, quality improvement, leadership and public policy.
Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist Internships
For registered dietitian nutritionists and/or individuals completing supervised practice experiences to become eligible to take the registration examination for dietitians by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
